After a 24 hour journey we were met at the airport and driven to a hostel in BA. The village is a Norwegian, who are either studying or going to work like us. Vanessa, who runs the hostel is like a mother to us, she makes breakfast and dinner and makes sure that all is well:)
We slept for 9 hours when we arrived, before we went into town to look a bit. We felt quite so helpless .. Money that was sent from Brazil that are used in ATMs was too thick, so they had to be returned, so very hard to get money .. Is little money in the ATMs, and they do not take cards in stores, etc.! We walked around a lot, tried several ATMs, and finally we found it, and then poured us about the bank;)
Now we have just eaten Baccalao, very good:)
Tomorrow we have the first meeting with the x plore, is very exciting because we do not know so much. Then there is the BBQ joint in the evening, with everyone! :) Instead, we met one named Eduardo, who has helped us with the apartment. He told us lots of good things about the area, and that he takes over the key tomorrow. But we do not move in until after the English course that is completed in about 2 weeks:)
