Boca Jr. vs River Plate 22/01/2011

At 4:30 we got up! At 6:00 we sat us on the bus to Mar del Plata. After 6 hours we arrived, we were a little trip to the beach before we went to eat lots of good food:) At 18 we met at the bus to go to La Bonbomera stadium and see the world famous Boca match Jr. vs. River Plate! According to "The Sun" (English newspaper) is this one of the 10 things you must do before you die. Great atmosphere! We cheered on the Boca Jr., who won the match 2-0! On Friday we were at the home stadium of Boca Jr., was on a little tour, and saw when they did the finishes on the banner they would spend on the game, we were the first who saw the banner before all others! :) You can see some pictures:)

New apartment! The heart of Palermo! :)

Hello again! :) Then we have been here for over a week. Do not yet how great this city is, it takes a long time to learn where to go, where we are at any given time, and where there are things going on! Everything is so scattered, and it is Stoor distances! But anyhow, yesterday we were in our apartment and had handed over keys, a completely different lelighet than the one we have been sent in photos, so it can go. But it's very fresh and nice, quite a bit smaller than the one we got the pictures only:) We are very satisfied, hear the English teacher that it is in the heart of Palermo! :) The address is: Guatemala 6094 Apartment No. 7A Palermo, write down the item code for each, so feel free to send anything good from Norway;) Attach some pictures of how it looks now, well, you get some new pictures later on how it looks like after we have made it a little cozier:)
Otherwise, we played bowling this week, seen some tango dancing in the street, and been at the Plaza de Mayo.

When have we been in Buenos Aires in a few days. We enjoy a lot! :) Tomorrow, we begin in English course, looking forward! :) Have not done much since last time, we just explore the city a little bit every day! Today it ØS rain, the skies opened up, so we've just kept us in:) You can see some pictures:)

Buenos Aires:)

After a 24 hour journey we were met at the airport and driven to a hostel in BA. The village is a Norwegian, who are either studying or going to work like us. Vanessa, who runs the hostel is like a mother to us, she makes breakfast and dinner and makes sure that all is well:)
We slept for 9 hours when we arrived, before we went into town to look a bit. We felt quite so helpless .. Money that was sent from Brazil that are used in ATMs was too thick, so they had to be returned, so very hard to get money .. Is little money in the ATMs, and they do not take cards in stores, etc.! We walked around a lot, tried several ATMs, and finally we found it, and then poured us about the bank;)
Now we have just eaten Baccalao, very good:)

Tomorrow we have the first meeting with the x plore, is very exciting because we do not know so much. Then there is the BBQ joint in the evening, with everyone! :) Instead, we met one named Eduardo, who has helped us with the apartment. He told us lots of good things about the area, and that he takes over the key tomorrow. But we do not move in until after the English course that is completed in about 2 weeks:)

Mexico, Playa del Carmen

Hey hey! :)

We came to Mexico on Dec. 27 for having a few days vacation before we went on to Buenos Aires to work!
stay in Playa del Carmen was really good! We were a small Norwegian gang were together. Iselin from, Dina from Oslo, Drammen and Tina from Tiril. Been on lots of nice beaches, swimming in Cenoter (caves) run 4-wheelers in the woods / jungle and cost us a lot. New Year's Eve began at 14 on the beach (mextid), when the clock was 17 we had found some Spaniards that we celebrated the Norwegian New Year's Eve, with Champagne, then we went back to the hotel, fixed us and went to a place called Rufino to eat ham and potatoes (Norwegian food) very well:) So the celebration continued late into the night, a New Year's Eve we will never forget! : D
