Then it was time to update.

Thursday at 7:00 we sat on the subway in the direction of the port to catch a boat over to Uruguay!

boat took 1 hour, when we were in place in a place as a Colonia, from there we took the bus for 5 hours to a place called Punta del Este. Taxi to the hostel cost 8 USD, it took, we can not afford to began to walk. Since the taxi driver said it was only 5 blocks. We started walking in the direction we were shown, but after 5 blocks, there were no F & F Hostel to see. Then we decided to ask someone, but not a soul in the streets! We felt quite lost. Then we saw a sign with The hostel name and arrow, yess think we went that direction, after 10 minutes we were quite uncertain whether it was the right way, we thought to ask anyone here, but no, not a man in the street here, either. Boy, we felt even more lost! Finally we got the help of an old man who followed us all the way, really takes about 15 minutes to go, we spent well over 1 hour, and found that we had gone in a circle around the hostel. We checked into the fabulous F & F Hostels. The 3 girls from Porsgrunn and the two of us got a 5 piece en suite rooms, seemed so good until we found out that the bathroom smelled of mold and mix sewage, it dripped from the ceiling when you sat on the toilet and the toilet was close almost all time. We used therefore of communal baths. We stayed on the top floor so felt pretty priority.

second last day we were downgraded to an 11-man room, where we all lived Norwegian! Actually much better than what we had, it was well Maybe an upgrade.

On most days we were on the beach, playing volleyball, sunbathing and had a very pleasant one. In the evenings we sat at the bar down at the hostel with those who worked there, and others who also lived at the hostel, really nice and good mood! Became very well acquainted with two Brazilians who were with us on the beach and out to eat!
Saturday, Louise ill with fever, so she had a fun night and return Sunday!

Mmmm, eating boiled corn on the cob on the beach! :)

Volleyball! :)

On Sunday we went a little earlier to get some time in the old town of Colonia before we went on board the boat home. In front of the white lighthouse stands a few of us:) The biggest reason we went to Uruguay was mostly because we do not have permission to stay for more than 90 days since we are here on tourist visas, so we had to renew our visa. So now we can be here for another 90 days! :)

On Monday, March 7, Petter, girlfriend Louise. He brought a stooor suitcase with lots of toys, dressing up clothes, games, books etc. for the kids! TUUUSEN THANKS Marie-Anne and Tilde! : D

Otherwise, we can announce that lice from spreading among our volunteers! We have not got lice, but we are prepared with showers and everything!
